Designed for a working professional, this compact residence is a meditation on quiet living. The brief called for a timeless, soft-minimal aesthetic that fosters well-being while offering storage solutions and spatial flexibility. A custom-built frame redefines the originally open-plan kitchen, gently delineating it from the rest of the space while doubling as a coffee station. This thoughtful intervention introduces both a functional boundary and a quiet ritual - adding purpose and presence without compromising openness. To balance privacy and connectivity, customised sliding panels were integrated into the existing partition wall between the living and work room. This allows for adaptable openness or seclusion on demand, supporting changing needs while maintaining visual cohesion. A restrained palette of natural materials and muted hues extends consistently across the compact unit, promoting a sense of visual calm. Subtle cabinetry detailing on the bedrooms carpentry adds quiet points of interest without disrupting the overall serenity or minimal intent. This project reimagines compact living through the lens of architectural minimalism - where spatial clarity and material harmony are orchestrated to support a composed and restorative home environment.
